The chemical composition of Petitgrain varies greatly depending on where the plant was grown and how the oil is extracted. The main constitute is linalyl acetate regardless of where the plant originated.
Linalyl acetate @ 47 – 58%
Linalool @ 21 – 25%
x-Terpineol @ 4 – 7%

Steam distilled therefore not expected to be phototoxic unlike other citrus oils which are cold pressed and contain phototoxic compounds.
As with all essential oils, taking internally, ingesting or adding to food / beverages is not recommended and can cause harm.
Keep all essential oils out of the reach of children, lids secured in a cool dark location.
