Clary Sage
Botanical Name: Salvia sclarea L.
Synonyms: Clary, Muscatel Sage

Common Uses:
Clary Sage essential oil is well known for its balancing, uplifting, and deeply soothing qualities. Traditionally associated with women's wellness, it is often used for menstrual support, emotional equilibrium, and relaxation. Its euphoric aroma helps ease stress, nervous tension, and mental fatigue, making it an excellent companion for creative inspiration and inner reflection.
Blends well with:
- PMS / Dysmenorrhea: Roman Chamomile, Geranium, Lavender
- Anxiety, Nervous Tension, Stress: Bergamot, Cedarwood Atlas, Geranium, Lavender, Sweet Orange, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang
Precautions / Contraindications:
- Avoid during pregnancy, epilepsy, or if you have a cardiac condition.
- Use with caution during menstruation.
- Non-toxic, non-irritating, but has a moderate risk for skin sensitization.
- GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe).
As with all essential oils, taking internally, ingesting, or adding to food/beverages is not recommended and can cause harm.
Keep all essential oils out of the reach of children, lids secured in a cool, dark location.
