Common Uses:
Ylang Ylang essential oil is known for its deeply sensual, relaxing, and emotionally harmonizing qualities. It is often used to ease nervous tension, frustration, and emotional instability while promoting joy, confidence, and connection to one's inner passion. Its rich floral aroma is both grounding and uplifting, making it a favorite in emotional wellness and self-care rituals.
Blends well with:
- Depression: Bergamot, Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender, Sweet Orange, Patchouli, Sandalwood
- Anxiety, Frustration, Irritation, Nervousness, Stress: Bergamot, Atlas Cedarwood, Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender, Palmarosa, Petitgrain, Sweet Orange, Sandalwood
Precautions / Contraindications:
- Do not use on or around children.
- Excessive use may cause headaches or nausea.
- Use with caution in those with hypersensitivity or damaged skin.
- Moderate risk of skin sensitization—always dilute appropriately.
As with all essential oils, taking internally, ingesting, or adding to food/beverages is not recommended and can cause harm.
Keep all essential oils out of the reach of children, lids secured in a cool, dark location.

A deeply floral, sweet, and slightly woody aroma with balsamic undertones—warm, seductive, and exotic.
Oil & Aromatic Description:
A yellowish liquid with a rich, complex scent that is both calming and intoxicating.
Method of Extraction: Steam distilled
Parts Used: Freshly picked flowers
Country of Origin: Madagascar
Note: There are multiple grades of Ylang Ylang oil. Extra Superior is collected during the first 30 minutes of distillation, while Ylang Ylang III is collected from the 6th hour onward until the end of the process.
